Cattleman’s Cutlets


Cattleman’s Cutlets are perfect for roasting but can also be cooked singular on the Bbq. Here is how to create the perfect roast…..

Remove the meat from the fridge approx. 10 minutes before placing in the oven (Cooking straight from the fridge can toughen the meat).

Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius. When the oven has heated to temperature, place the cutlet rack in a baking dish and cook for Rare: 20-25mins per 500g, Medium: 25-30mins per 500g, Well Done: 30-35mins per 500g.

As a guide, each cutlet weights approx. 400g.

If you have decided to marinate your cutlets, you may like to cook the roast in an oven bag to reduce the marinade burning.
